UrbanWorks Architecture is an award-winning design firm in downtown Minneapolis that specializes in complex, urban infill projects. Established in 2005, the practice has grown to include diverse building types – mixed-use development, low-income housing, office headquarters, asset repositioning, educational facilities, historic rehabilitation, and more.
Every place has a story, and we see our job as translating that story into the built environment. Complete consideration of a project’s context – physical, social, political, financial, cultural, historical, and market forces – helps to shape design and turn constraints into opportunities.
