Brookfield Residential Hawaii, a subsidiary of Brookfield Residential, has opened two new model homes at its Holua Kai at Kauhou community, a gated collection of 40 new oceanfront homes overlooking the second, third, and fourth fairways of the Kona Country Club Ocean Course.
Holua Kai’s plantation-style floor plans, which are priced from the low $900,000s and contain three to four bedrooms, are designed specifically to provide a connection between the property’s interior and exterior spaces, a move inspired by Hawaii’s kama’aina-style homes. Natural ventilation, natural lighting, and panoramic coastline views have been prioritized in each home’s design.
According to Egen Moe, Brookfield Residential Hawaii’s vice president of sales and marketing, Holua Kai’s new models have attracted wide prospective buyer interest. “Given the lack of this type of product in the marketplace, and the known quality of the homes we build in our other Brookfield Residential communities, we’ve taken many pre-model reservations,” Moe said in a release. “It has been exciting to open these beautiful model homes and showcase oceanfront living at its best.”
Brookfield Residential Hawaii’s previous communities include KaMilo at Mauna Lani, also located on the island of Hawaii, and PiliMai at Poipu, a townhome and condo community on the island of Kauai. KaMilo at Mauna Lani was the top-selling community in Mauna Lani in 2015.
Tours of the new model homes at Holua Kai are available either in person or via videoconferencing.
