Compass Florida, a tech-oriented real estate firm based in Miami, has expanded its new-development branch, Compass Development. The division provides research, planning, marketing, and other developer services in luxury real estate throughout the development process, from project conception to sales.

Compass Development has hired 15 new agents and expanded its portfolio to include six luxury multifamily and condominium clients in Florida and international markets. The projects encompass more than $950 million worth of sellable inventory.

Clients include the Ocean Reef Islands in Panama, 6080 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach, the Carlos Ott–designed penthouse at Echo Brickell in Miami, The Waters in Bay Harbor Islands, Botaniko in Weston, and 121 Marina at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo.

“Having the opportunity to expand the development division in Florida has truly been a rewarding experience,” said Philip Freedman, Compass Development’s managing director, in a statement. “It’s exciting to witness this division’s rapid growth firsthand. We look forward to continuing our work [in] a company that’s at the forefront of transforming real estate through technology.”
