KB Home has announced the grand opening of a new model home at Sierra Vista, a Land Tejas community in Iowa Colony, Texas, located south of Houston. The builder plans to offer customizable and affordably priced one-and two-story homes.
Homes at Sierra Vista range from 1,600 to 2,500 square feet in size, with one- and two-story floor plans priced starting in the low $200,000s. Each home is designed to be Energy Star certified, and feature expansive great rooms, walk-in closets, spacious home offices, smart thermostats, and whole-home Wi-Fi. Floor plans feature up to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.
Amenities coming to the Sierra Vista master-planned community include a Junior Olympic-sized pool and cabana, a splash pad and water park, an exercise facility, hiking and biking trails, and a Crystal Lagoons amenity.
“Sierra Vista is located in a desirable master plan that will offer resort-style amenities and is situated in one of the fastest-growing areas of Houston,” says Brett Dietz, president of KB Home’s Houston division. “The new community is close to Highway 288 and Beltway 8, providing easy access to area employers in downtown Houston and Pearland, including the Texas Medical Center. The sales office and model home are open for private in-person tours by appointment, with walk-in tours available in accordance with local public health orders and safety procedures. Live video tours with a sales counselor are also available, as well as online photo galleries and virtual home tours on the KB Home website.
