KB Home has announced the opening of Alder Brook, a new single-family home community in Enumclaw, Washington. Alder Brook provides easy access to the Seattle area’s major employment centers.

“Our new homes at Alder Brook are situated within the highly desirable city of Enumclaw and offer breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains. The new community is convenient to highways 164 and 410 and close to popular shopping, dining, and entertainment as well as area parks and abundant outdoor recreation,” says Ryan Kemp, president of KB Home’s Seattle division. “As with other KB Home communities, Alder Brook provides home shoppers with the opportunity to purchase a new KB home that can be personalized to reflect their lifestyle and needs.”

Alder Brook has a wide selection of one- and two-story homes situated on large homesites. Floor plans feature up to six bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, ranging in size from approximately 1,600 to 2,900 square feet. Pricing begins from the low $600,000s.

KB Home offers a wide variety of homes at affordable prices with the ability to personalize floor plans and exterior elevations. Each KB home is Energy Star certified because of the construction techniques and materials used to deliver significant savings on utility bills compared with used homes. All new KB homes are also designed to have an enhanced indoor environment and include high-performance ventilation systems, low- or zero-VOC products and other features guided by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Indoor airPLUS standards.

At the end of June, KB Home also opened two communities at the Shadow Mountain master plan in Menifee, California. Oak Shade and Durango will offer new one- and two-story single-family homes with easy access to major employment hubs, shopping, entertainment, and dining. Durango at Shadow Mountain will feature ranch-style one-story homes with up to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths starting from the $510,000s. Ranging in size from 2,000 to 2,900 square feet, the homes will provide ample storage, large great rooms and kitchens, and bedroom suites with walk-in closets.

With pricing from the $470,000s, the homes will feature large bedroom suites, loft spaces, and covered patios. The model homes for both communities are open for walk-in visits and private in-person tours by appointment.

“Our two new communities, Oak Shade and Durango, feature spacious single-family homes in a prime Riverside County location. The new neighborhoods are compelling additions to our highly desirable Shadow Mountain master plan, which will showcase several family-friendly amenities, including a children’s playground, a soccer field, a basketball court, numerous parks, and walking, biking, and hiking trails,” says John Fenn, president of KB Home’s Inland Empire division.
