KB Home (NYSE: KBH) Friday announced the grand opening of two new communities in Fremont, Ca., North Grove and Laurel at Patterson Ranch.
Both communities are located in the Patterson Ranch master plan. A third new KB Home community in Patterson Ranch, Windrose, has already sold out.
The new homes in North Grove at Patterson Ranch offer expansive, open floor plans, spacious kitchens, optional first-floor bedroom suites, and ample storage space. The one- and two-story single family homes range in size from 2,439 to 3,400 square feet, with up to six bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths and three-car garages. Pricing begins from the mid-$1 millions. Furnished model homes will be open this weekend, April 8-9, 2017.
Laurel at Patterson Ranch offers two-story single family homes ranging in size from 1,993 to 2,176 square feet, with up to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. Featuring desirable features such as large walk-in closets, soaker tubs in the master bathroom and flex spaces, the homes at Laurel are priced from the low-$1 millions. Model homes are expected to debut in late April.
With the addition of Laurel and North Grove, KB Home’s Patterson Ranch community now includes four distinct styles of homes, including those in two other highly successful KB Home communities, Magnolia and Windrose, the latter of which almost immediately sold out.
In paying homage to the site’s agrarian heritage, Patterson Ranch is planned to feature more than 15 acres of parks and open space highlighted by an urban farm with a community garden and working orchard. When completed, homeowners with a green thumb will be able to take advantage of an on-site barn with tools for cultivating vegetables, herbs and native plants, as well as the orchard’s apple, almond, peach and fig trees. Additional planned amenities include a farmhouse-style community center featuring a chef’s kitchen along with private meeting and gathering areas, basketball and tennis courts, as well as walking paths. Magnolia at Patterson Ranch is adjacent to the popular Coyote Hills Regional Park, where visitors can enjoy 12 miles of trails through a wildlife refuge.
