Within the community, LGI Homes offers five floor plans ranging between 1,292 and 2,200 square feet. The one- and two-story single-family homes in the community have up to five bedrooms and three full baths. Each home in the community features a full suite of energy-efficient Whirlpool kitchen appliances, granite countertops, wood cabinetry with crown molding, vinyl-plank flooring, and a professionally landscaped front yard. Homes in The Orchard also feature double-pane low-E vinyl windows, a programmable thermostat, and included solar panels.

The Orchard is located off Highway 70 near Yuba City, north of Sacramento. The commuter-friendly community is close to local schools, employers, and shopping and dining options, according to LGI Homes. The surrounding mountain ranges offer residents a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities.
