Neal Communities, developer of Lakewood Ranch, streamed a virtual live grand opening event for the Grand Park community in Sarasota, Fla.. The stream aired on Facebook on December 10th, the day before the formal start of home sales on Dec. 11th.
According to Neal, the community will offer 890 homes at full buildout, and offer buyers a choice of 18 single-family and attached villa home floor plans ranging from 1,600 to 4,000 square feet in size. All homes will be green-certified, and prices will start in the low $300,000s. Seven models will be open for tours.
Neal Communities has also broken ground on another community in South Sarasota County, Avelina at Wellen Park. The neighborhood will contain 96 homes at full buildout, with five floor plans ranging from 2,327 to 2,752 square feet in size. A grand opening is expected in the third quarter of 2021, with one model home available at a later date.
