Oakwood Homes, a Clayton Properties Group builder, announced it has closed on the acquisition of Kings Point, a 907-acre property in southeast Aurora, Colorado.
Located at E-470 and Parker Road, the community will have approximately 1,700 homes as well as a PGA-level golf course and country club. Construction of the master-planned community will begin in mid-2022 and will offer a diverse neighborhood profile, including townhomes, duplexes, and single-family estates.

The community will provide two amenity sites featuring aquatic activities and three neighborhood parks with playgrounds, picnic areas, and sports fields. In addition, the community will have direct access to High Plains Trail, which follows E-470 and ties into the paved Cherry Creek Trail, Cherry Creek Reservoir, and downtown Denver.
Homes in the neighborhood will be part of the Cherry Creek School District. Students will be able to attend Creekside Elementary School, Liberty Middle School, and Grandview High School.
