Convergence Communities is moving ahead with Phase II of the master-plan for the Ocean View Beach Club community in Ocean View, Del., which is currently the closest new community to Bethany Beach. Sales of home sites and move-in ready properties by K. Hovnanian Homes have begun, and holiday incentives are available to buyers for a short time.
“It’s been a great year for Ocean View Beach Club,” said Shawn Smith, President of Convergence Communities, in a release. “Our vision is truly becoming a community, and Phase II is going to be an even larger piece of that. With a friendly, welcoming neighborhood design, its residents will bring an energy and life to Ocean View Beach Club that we as developers have looked forward to witnessing since we began designing the community.”
Phase II of the Ocean View Beach Club is located in the western portion of the master-plan, and will consist of condos, fee-simple townhomes, and single-family homes priced starting in the $300,000s. The community’s 8,000+ square foot clubhouse and outdoor pool have also started construction with the second phase, and are expected to open by the following summer.
The clubhouse will include a fitness center, locker rooms, a sauna, steam and massage rooms, and a multipurpose room. A landscaped pond and network of walking paths are also in progress.
