Saussy Burbank has announced the opening of Highland Park, a classic townhouse community in Charlotte, N.C’s North Davidson district (NoDa) which takes its name from the historic Highland Mill nearby. The 33 townhouses in three buildings offer residents easy, walkable access to nearby amenities, including a LYNX blue line extension coming spring of 2018.
Saussy Burbank president Bob Zweier said, “We saw an opportunity to bring an important hallmark of modern urbanism [to NoDa] — the classic townhouse common to downtown districts in New York, Philadelphia, Washington or other great American cities.”
Inside, the open-loft living area sits above street level, featuring tall ceilings. Two large bedrooms are found on the second level, while a removed lockout space a few steps below the street is suitable for an in-law suite or short-term rental.
The NoDa townhouses include 3.5 baths, a porch, a two-car garage, and interior details such as brick accent walls, cable rail stairs, high-end finishes, and site-finished hardwoods.
Proximity to restaurants, breweries, shops, parks, and entertainment venues offers Highland Park residents urban conveniences. Just three blocks from the future 36th street LYNX station, residents can easily access the light rail system, operating between uptown Charlotte and UNC Charlotte’s main campus.
