Hartness, an urban village developed by the Hartness family on Greenville, South Carolina’s Eastside, has added Dillard-Jones Builders and Sexton Griffith Custom Home Builders to its selection of available builders.

Known as the Hartness Builders Guild, the community’s selection of local custom builders also includes Hartness Construction, Hollison Custom Homes, J. Francis Builders, Milestone Custom Homes, and Peery Homes. Prospective buyers at Hartness can choose a newly built or under-construction home from any of the available builders, partner with a builder to customize an existing plan, or create a new design in keeping with Hartness’ architectural guidelines.

“The commonality of our diverse home types, sizes, and styles is the outstanding craftsmanship our Builder Guild promises and delivers,” says Sean Hartness, CEO of Hartness Development. “We are delighted to welcome two new members and their exceptional talent to the guild, especially as demand increases for quality legacy homes in an innovative mixed-use community concept.”

The 444-acre community’s amenities include a fitness center, 15 miles of outdoor trails through the development’s 175 acres of open space, and two green amenity spaces—the Grand Lawn and Sports Garden. Additional amenities will include tennis courts, a clubhouse, multiple pools, and a retail center with shops and restaurants.
