Stanley Martin Homes has closed on an 117-acre development site in Apex, North Carolina on which it plans to build a new mixed-use community. The site, which will be known as West Village, is slated to include 86 single-family detached homes and 294 attached townhome units for a total of 380 homes, along with 500,000 square feet of commercial retail space.

“Offering 294 brand-new townhomes—which are in high demand—and convenient access to Research Triangle Park, downtown Raleigh and Durham job centers, there’s a need and interest for West Village within the Triangle market,” says George Weller, Raleigh division president for Stanley Martin Homes.

West Village’s single-family homes will be priced between $400,000 and $500,000, and its townhomes will be priced between $300,000 and $350,000. Community amenities will include a swimming pool and open green pocket parks.

West Village will be located next to Apex’s recently-announced Pleasant Park project, an upcoming athletic park and youth sports tournament facility. The project is set to break ground in summer 2018.
