Gearing up for the spring selling season in St. Augustine, Florida, three premier builders—David Weekley, Dream Finders Homes, and Lennar—are introducing residential collections in Freehold Communities’ third phase of the Shearwater master plan.

“Ideally situated in St. Johns County, one of the fastest-growing submarkets in Florida, Shearwater extends its reputation as the region’s sought-after destination for home buyers,” says Mike McCollum, division president, Florida, for Freehold. “This community continues to draw home buyers looking for quality living options and recreational amenities. We’re excited to have these diverse new opportunities from our talented team of home builders, and we expect the next several months to be very active at Shearwater.”

In Shearwater’s Brookside neighborhood, Dream Finders Homes recently debuted a new 50-foot model for its collection of homes ranging from three to five bedrooms and up to three baths at 1,908 to 3,868 square feet. In the Falls neighborhood, Dream Finders has a limited number of 70-foot homesites with three to five bedrooms and three to four-and-a-half baths from 2,754 to 3,688 square feet. The model home for the 70-foot product is open for viewing.

David Weekley Homes

David Weekley Homes will offer residences on 60-foot homesites in the South Creek neighborhood ranging from 2,267 to 3,089 square feet with three to six bedrooms and two to six-and-a-half baths. The model home will open this summer. The builder also continues to sell 40-foot alley homes in Shearwater’s Brookside neighborhood and 60-foot homesites in The Falls neighborhood.

Lennar will celebrate the opening of two model homes in Shearwater’s third-phase Pinewood neighborhood this spring. The builder will feature its Lincoln plan, part of a collection of affordable luxury 1,707-square-feet townhomes with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, and the Truman townhome plan at 1,782 square feet with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths.

Lennar

Also in Pinewood, Lennar recently released three brand-new 24-foot rear-load townhome floor plans—Osprey, Wigeon, and Mallard. The single-level and two-story townhomes range from 1,494 to 2,005 square feet with three to four bedrooms and up to two-and-a-half baths.

Encompassing over 1,500 acres, Shearwater is planned for a total of 2,778 homes and includes a variety of amenities from 13 miles of walking trails through 600 acres of preserved habitats, parks, fields, lakes, and canoe/kayak access to Trout Creek. The clubhouse offers a fitness lodge, tennis courts, lagoon-style and multilane lap pools, commercial spaces, a lazy river, and more.

In addition to homes for sales, Shearwater offers two neighborhoods of new single-family rental homes by 360 Communities.
