Toll Brothers Apartment Living has opened its first multifamily community—the 258-unit Kilby—in the Lone Star State. The rental subsidiary of leading builder Toll Brothers partnered with Daiwa House Texas, a subsidiary of Daiwa House Group, the largest single-family home builder in Japan.

Built by general contractor KWA Construction and designed by HEDK Architects, the multifamily community is in the Frisco Square master-planned development, offering one- and two-bedroom floor plans and a wealth of high-end amenities.

“We’re excited to bring out luxury apartment communities to Frisco, one of the fastest growing cities in the country,” said Tommy Rhodus, regional director of acquisitions and development for Toll Brothers Apartment Living. “Kilby is conveniently situated for residents to explore the many activities that are offered in the neighborhood.”

The development includes a complimentary coffee bar, communitywide Wi-Fi, a conference lounge with a catering kitchen, a club area with a double-sided fireplace and social lounge, and a standalone two-story fitness center with Wellbeats virtual fitness and an outdoor yoga deck. Outdoor features include a luxury-style pool with tanning ledges and cabanas, a patio with a var, grilling stations, fire pits, a dog run, and a pet spa.

Interiors were designed by Chicago-based Mary Cook Associates, with an aesthetic approach led by Frisco’s industrial history and its relationship with the Frisco Railroad. The tie to the railway inspired the “elevated industrial” personality of the interiors and continues into the units. Units include quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, programmable thermostats, and full-size washers and dryers. Residents also have access to a structure parking garage featuring a TollTag reader, Latch smart entry to the building and units, and Package Concierge lockers for protected delivery.

“As we enter the DFW market, we celebrate Toll Brothers Apartment Living’s tremendous growth in the Southern and Central markets,” said Charles Elliott, president of Toll Brothers Apartment Living. “We look forward to expanding into dynamic neighborhoods throughout Texas.”
