iStar has welcomed D.R. Horton Southwest Florida as a new preferred home builder at Naples Reserve, the developer’s 688-acre lakefront community in Naples.
“With the addition of D.R. Horton, we are proud to introduce a new villa product, as well as single-family homes at Naples Reserve,” said Don Mears, vice president of land and development for iStar, developer of Naples Reserve said in a press release. “Their home designs will enhance Naples Reserve’s signature indoor-outdoor lifestyle.”
D.R. Horton has two models underway in the Savannah Lakes neighborhood: the 2,540-square-foot three-bedroom-and-den Wheaton plan and the 2,034-square-foot three-bedroom-and-den Delray plan.
“We are pleased to join Naples Reserve as a preferred builder,” said Jill Hoffman Meeks, vice president of sales and marketing of D.R. Horton’s Southwest Florida division said in a news release. “We are looking forward to opening our models for the coming season.”
D.R. Horton has 10 floor plans available, including one villa option. Available in the Coral Harbor neighborhood, the 1,519-square-foot, one-story Cambridge villa includes two bedrooms and a den, two baths, and a two-car garage. D.R. Horton’s single-family homes are expected to be available in the Egret Landing and Savannah Lakes neighborhoods.
Single-family home floor plans offer one or two stories, 1,816 to 3,461 square feet of living space, and range from three bedrooms with two baths to four bedrooms and four-and-one-half baths. Options for a den, study and/or game room are also available for specific floor plans.
Pricing for the villa plan starts in the high-$200s, and single-family homes are from the low- to mid-$300s.
Naples Reserve, which was was created by iStar,sits among 22 lakes and sweeping open water views, The community emphasizes lakefront living with Southern Coastal-inspired homes and amenities along the water’s edge.The community’s centerpiece 125-acre lake features a large tiki hut on destination Kontiki Island and also offers a mile-long stretch of lakefront nestled against the Picayune Strand State Forest, a 76,000-acre state park with protected pine lands, cypress swamps, marshes and abundant wildlife.
Planned lakefront amenities at Naples Reserve include the under-construction Island Club, which will offer resort-inspired amenities, including two pools, beach volleyball and boccie ball courts, a community center, and a separate fitness club. Residents will also enjoy a lakefront tennis and pickle ball complex. The Island Club is scheduled to open in November.
iStar has completed the community’s initial amenities, including the gatehouse, an elevated cobblestone entry bridge and the Outrigger Welcome Center, evocative of Key West with its palette of turquoise, beige and white, and a wraparound porch overlooking the lake and floating docks.
