Fischer Homes is expanding its offerings at Governor’s Preserve, located in Canton, Georgia, bringing new single-family homes to the northwest side of Atlanta in Cherokee County.

Governor’s Preserve is an existing community with a new section being released and developed by Harmony Grove, LLC. Phase one will begin with sales and the construction of 24 home sites and the final project totaling 55 new homes.

Buyers will have 10 floor plan designs to choose from, including the Paxton and Bayberry plans, with sought-after features of five-level designs, ranch and two-story homes with first-floor owner’s retreats.

Fischer will offer its Masterpiece Collection of Homes, which range from 2,400 to over 4,000 square feet, with pricing starting in the mid-$300,000 range. Community amenities include a private clubhouse, swimming pool with waterslide and lighted tennis courts.

“Governor’s Preserve is located in one of the fastest-growing areas in the metro Atlanta area,” Fischer Homes Atlanta market president Doug Cohen said. “This expansion provides Fischer Homes with the opportunity to offer a variety of home designs from our award-winning Masterpiece Collection and outstanding customer experience to even more new home buyers in the Cherokee County region.”

Governor’s Preserve is located in the Cherokee County School District, which includes Avery Elementary, Creekland Middle and Creekview High.

New home construction is expected to begin spring 2020, and the Leland decorated model home is slated to open late spring.
