KB Home Opens Two California Communities

Single family homes near Sacramento start in the $380,000s; townhomes in Anaheim start in the $490,000s.

KB Home (NYSE: KBH) late Friday announced the grand opening of Bridgewater, a new residential community in the Elk Grove, California area. The new single-family community offers a distinguished collection of affordably priced two-story homes situated in a commuter friendly location.

“Bridgewater is in a great location with easy access to major highways and a short commute to downtown Sacramento and area employers,” said Adam Hieb, president of KB Home’s Sacramento division. “As with other KB Home communities, Bridgewater offers home shoppers the opportunity to purchase a new, personalized KB home in a desirable neighborhood at a price that fits their budget.”

Bridgewater is walking distance to city light rail and close to Interstate 5 and Highway 99, offering easy access to area employers and downtown Sacramento. In addition, the community is situated within the Elk Grove Unified School District and is near a wide variety of shopping and dining establishments, as well as a neighboring park. The community offers six floor plans, including three traditional single-family homes and three alley load homes. The new homes have up to five bedrooms and three baths, and range in size from approximately 1,600 to 2,300 square feet. They also feature desirable design characteristics like great rooms, storage space and designer kitchens. Pricing begins from the $380,000s.

Downstate in Orange County, KB Home is opening of Arroyo, a new residential community in Orange County. This new community offers a distinguished collection of townhomes at a convenient Anaheim location.

“The new affordably priced townhomes at Arroyo are highly attractive for home buyers who are seeking a new home in an ideal, commuter friendly location,” said Steve Ruffner, president of KB Home’s Coastal division. “Arroyo gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase a new, personalized KB home at a price that fits their needs.”

Arroyo is close to Interstate 5 and Highways 60 and 57, offering easy access to historic downtown Anaheim and the Disneyland Resort. This quiet enclave of townhomes is also near La Palma Park, which features ball fields, playgrounds and picnic areas. Additionally, all homes at Arroyo are equipped with a 2.1kW solar system that can provide home buyers a meaningful cost savings on utility bills compared to used homes.
