Located just off Irvine Boulevard, within the Irvine Unified School District, Prado at Cadence Park is walking distance to both Portola High School and the new Cadence Park K-8 school. The surrounding area features several outdoor recreational opportunities, with plenty of parks, public golf courses, and protected open spaces for residents to enjoy year-round. Additionally, Orange County theme parks and beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Prado at Cadence Park is convenient to Interstates 5 and 405 as well as State Routes 133 and 241 for easy commutes and access to John Wayne Airport, Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar.
KB Home will host a grand opening celebration at Prado at Cadence Park on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., during which attendees may tour the model homes. Free refreshments and entertainment will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
At Prado at Cadence Park, KB Home plans to build 87 homes, available in three distinct three-story floor plans that range in size from 1,700 to 2,700 square feet. These modern homes include up to four bedrooms and four baths, ground floor bedrooms with full baths, gourmet kitchens with large island counters, spacious master bedroom suites and open lofts. Each new home offers a private yard space, and select floor plans include a walk out deck. Additionally, all residents at Cadence Park will receive a new bicycle from the Great Park master plan community. Pricing begins in the mid-$800,000s.
“This new walkable community offers sweeping views of the surrounding area, convenience to Orange County attractions, as well as shopping, dining and entertainment at Irvine Spectrum and Tustin Marketplace,” said Steve Ruffner, president and regional general manager for KB Home’s Coastal division.
The KB homes at Prado at Cadence Park will be built to current ENERGY STAR® guidelines and include WaterSense® labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy- and water-efficient than most typical new and resale homes available in the area. These energy- and water-saving features are estimated to save homebuyers between $1,452 to $1,860 a year in utility costs, depending on the floor plan. Additionally, buyers will have the opportunity to add solar to their new home to potentially further reduce their utility bills.
