Development is scheduled to begin this spring on a new section in the established new home community of Viniterra in New Kent, Virginia.
The section, called The Cottages at Viniterra, will feature single family detached homes created specifically for homeowners 55+. The new section will be developed by ReeseBrooks Land Company, with homes built by CraftMaster Homes. Both companies are owned by veteran home builder Jeff Tunstall.
The project includes 118 homes, with more than half located along the golf course. Construction of the homes is expected to begin in fall of this year.
“Given the substantial growth in New Kent County, developing the new section of Viniterra makes for an exciting project,” Tunstall said. The area has seen a population growth of 21.9% between 2010 and 2018, making it the 2nd fastest growing locality in Virginia. The key to that growth is its location as a vital connector along Interstate 64 between Richmond and Hampton Roads.
The Cottages at Viniterra will be a maintenance-provided community, allowing homeowners spend more time enjoying the incredible resort-style amenities and less time worrying about yard work and exterior maintenance.
“We are beyond excited to begin development and building in Viniterra. The golf course, walking trails, and of course the adjacent winery make the community incredibly desirable to homeowners.” said Tunstall.
Home plans in The Cottages at Viniterra range from 1,600 to over 3,000 square feet with 3 to 4 bedrooms, and many homes with basement opportunities. A 5-time winner of the Home Building Association of Richmond’s Builder of the Year Award, CraftMaster offers homeowners the opportunity to personalize each plan to their specifications.
