Hanover Family Builders was only formed earlier this year, but it has big plans for the future. The Orlando-based builder aims on building 1,000 new homes in central Florida over the next two years.

The company is introducing nine communities over the next six months, mostly in Osceola and Lake counties, with select model homes opening to the public this month.

The majority of Hanover’s homes will target first-time and move-up home buyers and will fall in the $204,000-$275,000 price range; with executive homes priced up to $419,000. To suit a variety of buyer preferences, each of Hanover’s communities will feature between seven and nine floor plans, ranging from 1,300 square feet to more than 4,700 square feet. All Hanover homes include a multitude of innovative features, including Kohler Digital Showering Systems, covered lanais, Samsung SmartThings hubs and flexible floor plans – all standard features that make up the Hanover 4 Point Advantage.

“We’ve taken some of the higher-end features that buyers want and made them standard on all our homes, and still kept our prices affordable,” said Matt Orosz, co-president. “This allows families to get the amenities that they want without having to pay for a lot of upgrades.”

Hanover’s new Lake County communities include Ardmore Reserve, Cypress Oaks, Sorrento Springs, Windsong and Preserve at Sunrise. The company’s Osceola County communities include Pinewood Gardens, Overlook Reserve, and Hanover Lakes. The company will also open William’s Preserve in Davenport. Hanover Family Builders has four additional communities targeted for 2018, but has yet to close on the properties.

The family-owned business is competing against 20-plus publicly-traded companies in the area. The company principals are the Orosz family, which has been one of the most active private builder/developers in central Florida over the past 35 years.

The Orosz family owned and operated Cambridge Homes, which produced 1,000 new homes annually for several years in central Florida, as well as Royal Oak Homes, which was the fastest-growing home builder in the country from 2013-2014.

The family’s roots in real estate date back to the early 1900’s, when William S. Orosz Sr. started his own real estate company. His son, William Orosz Jr., followed in his footsteps, building thousands of new homes in Central Florida. Today brothers Matt, Steve and Andrew Orosz serve as principals for Hanover.

“Our families grew up in central Florida and we all still live here,” said Matt Orosz. “We’re connected to this community and feel like we’re building each of our homes for a friend or neighbor. We understand the needs of our customers in a way that an out-of-state company never will.”
