Colorado’s largest private builder, Oakwood Homes, has purchased 53 lots in Reunion, a master planned community developed by Shea Homes in Commerce City, Colo.
Oakwood, No. 39 on the 2017 BUILDER 100 list with 1,277 closings in 2016, will offer eight floor plans ranging in size from 1,600 to 2,300 square feet and single- and two-story homes starting at the $320,000.
“I am excited to bring the vibrancy and community feel to Reunion that Oakwood Homes is known for,” said Pat Hamill, founder and CEO of Oakwood, in a release.
Established in 2002, Reunion 2,500-acre community in the northeast Denver Metro area and is currently home to more than 1,500 families. It features more than 900 acres of mixed use and commercial development, while the community houses a 21,000-square foot recreation center, 152 acres of parks, an 18-hole golf course, 10 miles of trails, eight acres of lakes, and nearby grocery and other retail amenities.
The Reunion Community includes the neighborhoods of Back Nine, Southlawn, Park Neighborhood, The Gallery, and Parkside.
