Trinity Falls, the massive master-planned community in McKinney, Texas, is adding Houston-based Perry Homes to its builder roster as part of the community’s next phase.

While Pretty Homes is the first of several new builders that will soon build in Trinity Falls, this phase of the 1,700-acre community will also include varied housing styles, a major amenity center, and the 330-acre B.B. Owen Park along the Trinity River. In addition, a site is located in this phase for a future McKinney Independent School District elementary school.

Perry Homes, No. 28 on the 2017 BUILDER 100 list with 1,826 closings, will bring a new price point into the community, with its homes expected to start in the upper $200s. Perry Homes will offer floor plans designed for 45-foot and 50-foot homesites. Presales are expected to begin within the next 30 days.

“Perry Homes is a Class A builder that fits nicely into the premium builder profile we have devised for Trinity Falls,” said Jim Baker, general manager of Trinity Falls, in a release. “This addition is the first of a new building program being introduced into the community since Johnson Development acquired Trinity Falls in 2016.”

Seven builders in the community currently offer designs priced from the $300s: Ashton Woods Homes, Beazer Homes, Emerald Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes, and Plantation Homes.

A project of Houston-based Johnson Development Corp., Trinity Falls opened in 2014 and is planned for 4,200 homes. The development recently welcomed its 500th family.
