Tavistock Development Company, developer of 24,000-acre master-planned community Sunbridge in central Florida, has announced the development’s first residential neighborhood. Active adult builder Del Webb is in early planning stages for a gated, 700-acre neighborhood called Del Webb Sunbridge.
Del Webb Sunbridge will be located in northwest Osceola County, though the master-planned community also extends into Orange County. Pending final approval from Osceola County, Del Webb could break ground on the neighborhood during the second half of 2018. Model homes are expected to open in summer of 2019.
“We expect Del Webb, which has been the premier active adult home builder in the nation for over 60 years, to complete its approval process within the next 90-120 days,” says Rob Adams, vice president of residential development at Tavistock Development Company. “Their track record of creating vibrant, active places would be a wonderful addition to Sunbridge.”
Del Webb Sunbridge will add over 1,350 homes to the Sunbridge community, which will feature a diverse range of neighborhoods as well as commercial centers, according to the developers. Residents will also have access to a variety of transportation options.
