PulteGroup’s West Florida Division has acquired 104 acres in Wesley Chapel, Fla. where it plans to build 350 single-family homes marketed toward first-time buyers.
The Centex community, called Wesbridge, will have homes starting in the low $200s. Floor plans will range from 1,500 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet and will offer three-to-five bedrooms, two-to-four bathrooms, and two or three car garages. The community’s projected revenues are expected to exceed $100 million, according to Pulte.
Wesbridge will feature three different home series on 40-, 50-, and 60-foot-wide home sites, several of which will back up to open space, preservation, and water. The community will feature a private amenity with resort style pool, splash playground, tot lot, and dog park.
“This is an assemblage of four different pieces of property in a prime location,” said Sean Strickler, Pulte’s division president of West Florida, in a statement. “This community, which is located in a growing submarket, has convenient access to all the major roadways and is less than one mile away from the gorgeous Wesley Chapel District Park.”
Wesbridge is located across from Wesley Chapel Elementary School, Weightman Middle School, and Wesley Chapel High School. It is near I-75, I-275, SR 54, the Wiregrass mall, and the newly built Premium Outlet Mall.
Centex, Pulte’s brand geared toward first-time buyers, expects to begin sales in early 2019.
Wesbridge will be the company’s third community in Wesley Chapel. Its first, Country Walk, sold out in February of 2017 and the second is Epperson, which will offer the first Crystal Lagoon in the United States. Pulte is currently in the second phase of sales at Epperson.
