Centex, PulteGroup’s brand geared toward first-time buyers, has launched pre-sales at Rego Palms, a new townhome community in Tampa, Fla.
Buyers can choose from three townhome designs ranging from 1,451 to 1,818 square feet. The floor plans have 2-3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 1-2 car garages on two floors. They feature open gathering spaces ideal for family living, patios, master bathrooms with up to two sinks, and walk-in closets. Two floor plans include a second-floor loft. Community plans also call for a tropical swimming pool, children’s playground, and ample green spaces.
Centex will build 158 townhomes at Rego Palms, with prices starting in the mid-$100s. Also, each residence has a 10-year limited structural warranty and no community development district fees.
“Purchasing a home is a huge milestone, and every buyer deserves to find a home that is the right fit for their family,” said Sean Strickler, PulteGroup division president of West Florida, in a statement. “Many of our first-time home buyers are looking for a place they love and can afford. We provide them with that peace of mind and a place to create beautiful memories.”
The development sits just 11 miles from downtown Tampa and less than 5 miles from Brandon Town Center and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The Museum of Science & Industry, Busch Gardens and the University of South Florida are each under 10 miles away.
Centex also recently acquired 104 acres in Wesley Chapel, Fla. where it plans to build 350 single-family homes marketed toward first-time buyers.
