Taylor Morrison has started construction at Holcomb Woods, a new master-planned residential community in Harrisburg, N.C. where it will offer 114 home sites.
Home buyers will be able to choose from a variety of floor plans at Holcomb Woods, including spacious two-story and ranch homes. The new three- to six-bedroom homes will range in size from 2,925 to more than 4,288 square feet and will start in the mid $300s. The first model homes will be complete in spring 2018.
Resident amenities will include a centrally located community pool and recreational fields maintained by the town of Harrisburg. The first model homes are expected to be complete in spring 2018.
Holcomb Woods will be Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Taylor Morrison’s second community in Harrisburg, a Charlotte suburb that is the fifth fastest-growing municipality in the state on a percentage basis, according to the N.C. Office of State Budget and Management. At Blume, a community near the intersection of Rocky River Road and Hickory Ridge Road in Harrisburg, Taylor Morrison sold its final home sites and closed out in August.
“With the success we enjoyed at Blume, we’re very pleased to start construction on Holcomb Woods and provide another option for home buyers of all ages in the Harrisburg market,” said Kevin Granelli, Charlotte division president for Taylor Morrison.
Holcomb Woods features easy access to Interstate 485, highly regarded neighborhood schools in Cabarrus County, and proximity to shopping and dining in downtown Harrisburg.
Taylor Morrison has 14 communities in the Charlotte region, including four currently in development.
