Hanley Wood, parent company of BUILDER, announced today the formation of the HIVE Action Partnership, a group of influential leaders and innovators that will focus on the nationwide issue of the shortage of affordable and accessible housing. The group will set initiatives in motion around opportunity areas and investments, and challenge the entire business community with a specific action plan targeted in 2018 to “Reignite the Dream: Affordability for Profit and Purpose.”

The HIVE Action Partnership is charged with synthesizing and communicating the action items that will be the framework for the discussions and panels at the third annual HIVE Conference, which will be held in Austin on November 28 and 29. These leaders will help determine priorities and present final direction to policy makers in an active pursuit of change.

“The HIVE conferences have been at the forefront of identifying the greatest challenges and opportunities in housing and bringing innovative solutions and dialogue to the community,” said Peter Goldstone, CEO of Hanley Wood. “The next step is action. HIVE will not only be a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, but it will propagate change. This year’s conference is focusing on the issue of affordability in the United States, and is becoming the exclusive gathering for leaders, technologies and innovations that will change ongoing policy conversations and initiatives.”
