Set to officially open tomorrow, Denver’s first construction co-working location will bring the co-working mentality of successful tech startups to the building profession.
Tradecraft Industries founder Bryce Ballew envisioned a shared office space where building pros can network and build relationships with others in similar trades. Memberships are offered for private and flex offices, mailing addresses, and storage units. Other features include conference rooms, continuing education programs, and estimating rooms.
Ballew conceptualized Tradecraft in 2012 when he ventured out on his own as a commercial CM/GC after more than 12 years of experience. In the years that followed, co-working spaces and small business incubators became booming business, while the construction industry lacked a progressive approach to supporting and encouraging small business growth and large business innovation, he says.
“Tradecraft has a diverse variety of solutions for businesses of all sizes,” he says. “It combines a nuts and bolts approach with a C-suite touch.”
