In its first acquisition since Del Webb, Pulte Homes has bought Sivage-Thomas Homes of Albuquerque, N.M., a private Builder 100 company that closed 1,100 homes last year, with revenues of $149 million. Terms of the cash deal were not disclosed.

Ohio-based Drees Co. in June purchased Ausherman Homes, a Frederick, Md. based company that builds in Washington’s Maryland suburbs. In 2002, Ausherman closed 244 homes for $64 million in revenue.

Finally, Orleans Homebuilders of Bensalem, Pa., plans to enter the central Florida market with the purchase of Masterpiece Homes, an Orange City, Fla., builder that closed 213 homes for $26 million in revenue last year.
