Defy Investments Buys Davis Homes in Indianapolis

Investment and management company Defy Investments has purchased Indianapolis-based third generation Davis Homes.

Newly established Defy Investments has bought Indianapolis-based home builder Davis Homes, which has built more than 25,000 homes in Indiana.

Davis Homes is led by third-generation builder Bradley C. Davis, who serves as CEO, and COO Don Chesney. Davis will continue in his role as CEO and retain a minority ownership interest. All other Davis Homes employees will also continue in their current roles. Whelan Advisory acted as exclusive advisor to Davis Homes.

Fort Wayne-based Defy Investments was founded last year. It is “focused on acquiring and growing innovative construction companies in the commercial and residential sectors.”
