Window and door manufacturing giant Andersen Corporation plans to acquire Bright Wood Corporation. Bright Wood is considered the largest independent manufacturer of window and patio door components and engineered dimensional lumber in the country and will continue to operate under local leadership.

The Oregon-based family-owned company has been a critical supplier to the window and door industry, enabling growth and innovation for over 60 years. Under new management, Bright Wood will continue to deliver the same industry-leading products and solutions to its customers.
Bright Wood has more than 1,000 employees across its 28 processing plants and five locations. The manufacturer will be led by window and door industry leader Pat Meyer, who will serve as Bright Wood’s acting CEO. Meyer will be supported by several tenured members of the Bright Wood leadership team.
