National Association of Home Builders economist Stephen Melman comments on yesterday’s release of the Pending Home Sales Index (PHSI), a forward-looking indicator based on signed contracts reported by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). It decreased 1.1% in June to 102.7, after an upward run of three months.
