One of the best reasons to attend Design & Construction Week is to get a close-up look at building products. From beautiful tiles and streamlined faucets to efficient water heaters and hard-working insulation, there is something of interest for every type of residential builder.

This year, many manufacturers are launching new products during the event in Orlando, Fla. Here, BUILDER has the low down on the newest of the new on the expo floor.

Door manufacturer Masonite is launching the new Heritage Series of exterior doors in response to growing demand for entry doors that enhance both traditional and modern home design. The three-panel fiberglass entry doors feature authentic Craftsman architectural details to complement the company’s Heritage Winslow interior doors, completing the look for a whole home solution.

The Heritage three-panel door is available in 6-foot-8-inch and 8-foot heights, and features an optional dentil shelf, as well as architecturally correct detailing to reflect the look of a real wood cottage or bungalow inspired door design, the company says. Masonite has incorporated a 22-inch-by-17-inch light frame that allows the door to be glazed. Additionally, a 10-inch panel at the bottom meets ADA requirements.

The door features a new decorative glass design; customers can choose between opaque or Craftsman glass designs to best fit their personal style. It is offered in full and half sidelites. Booth W3800
