Project Description
Construction was completed on this new villa on the west coast of the southern Ionian Greek Island of Kefalonia. Dever Architects worked with local Greek engineers, builders, and construction materials and methods to create a design that is at home on this sunny beach.
The main house and guest house were designed to take advantage of the spectacular setting and views. While being completely modern, the design respects the architectural traditions of this island, formerly ruled for hundreds of years by Venice. Since most of the island’s historic structures were devastated in a 1953 earthquake, special care was given to seismic design.
