Gary E. Robinette serves as CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors of Ply Gem Industries, Inc. (NYSE: PGEM), a leading manufacturer of exterior building products serving the new residential and home repair and remodel market. He was elected CEO of Ply Gem in 2006 and has 39 years of leadership in companies, such as Proctor & Gamble, Avon Products and Wolseley PLC.
He founded Foundation Labs, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ply Gem, to promote innovation, incubate and accelerate ideas and products for the residential and home building industry.
In addition, Gary serves his community and profession with active participation in numerous boards including Xavier University Board of Trustees and the Policy Advisory Board of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University. Since 2007, he has been a board member of Champion Home Builders, as well as USI, Inc.
Gary graduated with an MBA from Xavier University as well as the IMD Executive Program.
