La Quinta, Calif.,-based Rilington Group has announced that it will open doors to model homes at Domani, a new, active-adult gated community located in Palm Desert, Calif., on Feb. 17. The development began construction on its model homes and clubhouse last May.
The single-family detached community contains 202 homes in a resort-style setting that offers a gated entrance, private park, clubhouse, fitness center, and luxe pool. Each of the five single-story floor plans are surrounded by mountain views and designed in an “Early California”-style aesthetic.
The homes—which range in size from a 1,586-square-foot two bedroom and two-and-a-half bath to a 1,893-square-foot residence with three-and-a-half baths—are oriented for indoor-outdoor living and feature both courtyard and backyard spaces. Standard features at Domani include granite kitchen counters, maple cabinets, and porcelain tile flooring throughout the great rooms.
“From my perspective as a long-time builder, we are offering the right product in the right location at the right price point, and that is exciting for me,” notes Hansi Riley, Rilington’s vice president and co-founder.
“We feel that a community with 202 homes is a nice size and fills a market niche. Our active buyers ready for their next stage of fun can live in an affordable, beautifully designed, high quality home with multiple amenities—without being in a large master planned community with thousands of units,” Riley adds.
