The boutique art studio of Buon Fresco incorporates the talents of the husband-and-wife team of Andre Kouznetsov and Victoria Bingham, along with other carefully selected artisans. Kouznetsov specializes in painted murals and trompe l’oeil, while Bingham focuses on precision color mixing, Venetian plaster designs, and other painted effects. Designs run from simple to ornate, but the focus is always on restraint, Bingham says. “We mix and match color, finish, and texture so that the eye never gets too much of one thing,” she says.
The studio’s range of work includes murals, frescoes, Chinoiserie (painted wallpaper), decorative paint finishes, and faux marble and leather designs. Clients can be tempted to go overboard but Bingham and Kouznetsov are skilled at keeping the work clean and elegant, and “We don’t let people make mistakes.
