Luxury Texas Home Crumbles into Lake

A 7,000-square-foot house overlooking Texas’ Lake Whitney had to be abandoned by its owners after its foundation began to crumble, taking a chunk of the luxury dwelling with it as it fell 75 feet into the water.

The owners had to move out and the $700,000 house was condemned and later destroyed in a controlled burn, according to the Dallas Morning News. To add insult to injury, the owners will be held responsible for the cleanup, as they say their insurance policy won’t cover the damages.
