5. Flying Saucer
The 24-inch-wide Basket Saucer light fixture is made from birch veneers that are woven to create 3D surface patterns. Hand-assembled and manufactured in Brooklyn, N.Y., it features a silver powder-coated stem measuring 24 inches long and uses two 60-watt incandescent bulbs.
