Americh has added a new integrated storage feature to its series of tub customization options. The Urban Bath Apron Storage system incorporates a a 3.5-inch deep by 36-inch long stainless steel shelf into the body of the tub, designed to store bath essentials out of sight behind the tub apron’s panel until needed.
“Americh is always looking for ways to make the most of the space our baths occupy. Whether it be by adding a massage system, a warmed backrest, or a simple pillow, we think the bathing spot is prime space,” says Kim Frechette, national director of sales for Americh. “If the square footage calls for a tub/shower, we thought it would be wise to make use of every inch. In addition to, or in lieu of, shelving in the shower or ‘stuff’ on the side of the bath, why not hide away your bath accessories and products?”
The Urban Bath Apron Storage system’s panel opens smoothly with hydraulic arms and closes securely with a magnet. The stainless steel tray is easy to remove for cleaning purposes.
Americh’s tubs are available in a choice of standard or custom sizes, colors, and accessories. Standard lengths range from 60 to 72 inches, with a choice of square, corner, freestanding, rectangular, round, or oval tub shapes. Color choices include biscuit, black, bone, ice gray, sterling silver, white, Americh’s premium colors, or a custom color, with color-matching or two-tone options available.
