Recently introduced by New Ravenna, the Illusions Collection features seven mosaic tile designs, hand crafted in natural stone, jewel glass, and shell. Designed by Sara Baldwin and Paul Schatz, the optical patterns create texture and depth by integrating varied materials, scale, and colors, said Baldwin.

“Texture can be a physical combination of different materials by integrating shell, stone and glass to create surface harmonies and reflections. Or texture can be implied by adapting classic three dimensional patterns that have been explored throughout history.”

The designs are available in multiple colorways and feature organic tones inspired by nature. Hand cut and crafted on Virginia’s eastern shore, each mosaic in the collection is a custom creation and sized for the individual installation. The tiles can be used on horizontal and vertical, as well as interior and exterior, surfaces.
