Italian manufacturer aLEGNA has introduced a line of luxury wooden bathtubs. Inspired by the manufacturer’s experience with yacht building, the products are designed to evoke nature. The tubs are made from carefully selected wood veneers and saturated with an extra-resistant resin to ensure that the bathtub is 100 percent leak-proof and no water can permeate the wood. Three models are available, along with a coordinating sink and bath furniture collection.

Laguna Basic is a smoothly curved interior tub, with customizable outside dimensions that allow it to fit in every bathroom. Laguna Pearl is a deep freestanding model, as is Laguna Spa, which features a wide rim and integrated overflow to fill the tub to the brim. The rim can also be accented with different pebbles.

All bathtub models and Laguna Pure sinks and washstands can be constructed from a choice of six woods, ranging from buttery oak to dark wenge. Laguna Basic and Laguna Spa are both available as Jacuzzi-style tubs.

aLEGNA offers a 10-year guarantee on impermeability, strength, and coating, with an expected 40-60 year service life.
