Census Bureau Combines Market Stats Into an App

The Census Bureau is making its economic indicators easier to access with a new app for smartphones and tablets. America’s Economy tracks 16 metrics including new residential construction, construction spending, gross domestic product, homeownership levels, and the unemployment rate. Results are updated monthly and quarterly, and users can check the app’s schedule to track releases. For more information, visit www.census.gov.
