A new door product from Swiss manufacturer Sky-Frame is ideal for modern, open-style spaces. The frameless Pivot door system glides open easily with a gentle push, thus immediately expanding the architectural space.

The large glass elements offer builders, developers, and architects even more creative freedom for designing with glass, says the firm, with a glass-paneled system that swings open easily around its axis. This provides the existing architecture of a room to have a constantly changing visual aesthetic. The slim aluminum frame profiles have a minimal visible width of approximately 1.5 inches. Sky-Frame’s uniquely designed thermally broken doors provide excellent insulation and superior performance, and the entire pivot door is air and water tight.

The door can be easily integrated into existing architecture and works with any existing home security system, which means the doors can be opened with keys, badges, or fingerprints. The mechatronic multipoint locking system guarantees maximum security, the firm says. Its size ranges up to 8 feet wide and more than 14 feet high.
