Western Window Systems has followed up its Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door with the debut of the Series 7650 Sliding Glass Door. The Series 7650 is the second of twelve new aluminum product lines that Western Window Systems will release in 2017, following the launch of the Series 7600 in March.

The Series 7650 offers highly energy-efficient glass options, advanced strength, industry-leading taller and wider sizes, and a clean, contemporary look that provides a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The door’ features a .30 U-value for standard, low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass, a .19 U-value for high-performance triple glass, and a design pressure (DP) rating of 50. The design is NFRC tested and Title 24 compliant, and is currently undergoing hurricane impact testing.

Performance glass options include laminated glass, solar- and glare-control glass, enhanced winter-performance glass, and Neat low-maintenance glass, courtesy of glass manufacturer Cardinal IG Go. The aluminum extrusion design features proprietary Insulbar technology, which supports triple-pane, laminated, and security glass.

The design also offers jamb covers, a concealed locking system, stainless steel hardware, and a split finish option for opposite sides of the door, among many more options and features.

“The Series 7650 Sliding Glass Door is an exciting new idea — we started with our classic aluminum design and reinvented it for architects and builders who want a true contemporary sliding glass door that addresses energy and performance needs critical to an area. The result is our sleekest, strongest, and most energy-efficient sliding glass door to date,” says Scott Gates, Western Window Systems’ president and CEO. westernwindowsystems.com
