The newest addition to Legrand’s radiant collection is an in-wall Wireless Charger – the first to market of its kind, according to the manufacturer. It is intended to replace a standard single wall outlet, and is designed for quick and easy installation without the need for new wiring.

The charger consists of a sleek external cradle, designed to hold a device to charge, and a Qi-certified charging pad installed flush with the wall. It offers simultaneous charging with multiple access points, including two AC points, one wireless charging pad and one USB port. Its 3.1A charging capacity is shared between its wireless pad and USB port.

The charger features a small LED indicator at its base, which glows a solid red while charging and switches to green when charging is complete. It is compatible with any Qi-enabled device, including the iPhone 8, iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy, and other products from Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Nokia.

“We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new Wireless Charger that provides consumers with added convenience, reliability and fast-charging capability,” says Rebecca Gounaris, director of marketing for Legrand. “The radiant collection delivers style and function to homeowner’s switches and outlets. With this introduction, the radiant collection offers more innovative solutions to complement the evolving consumer charging needs at home.”

The charger is priced at $85.68. legrand.us
