Envision Building Products has introduced a new face-fastening solution, the Pro Plug Hidden Fastening System, designed to enable installers and DIYers to cover visible screw heads and holes on face-fastened deck boards. It is compatible with all of Envision’s square edge composite deck board profiles and colors, and may also be used in combination with Envision’s EverClip Hidden Fastener.

The system is made up of three components: epoxy-coated carbon steel or stainless steel screws, a PVC/composite driver tool that attaches to a standard drill/driver, and plugs made to match Envision’s decking material. The driver tool attachment is designed to drive screws to the correct depth without overdriving or stripping. Envision recommends tapping the plugs into place over the screw holes with a smooth-faced hammer.

“This latest addition to Envision’s lineup rounds out our fastener portfolio—color-matched composite deck screws, EverClip Hidden Fasteners, and now the Pro Plug Hidden Fastening System—providing customers with more possibilities to achieve their desired look and take projects to the next level,” says Kyle Warwick, business development manager for Envision. “Professionals and DIYers alike can achieve a flawless finish with ease.” envisiondecking.com
