Up A Tree

1 MIN READ

Tree houses strike a chord in people’s hearts, perhaps because they evoke visions of childhood days filled with carefree, imaginative play. For clients who want their kids to experience the fun of a tree house on a grand scale, a wild or whimsical custom tree house from Daniels Wood Land may be in order.

The company specializes in fanciful play structures of all shapes, sizes, and levels of complexity, all supported by a huge, hollowed-out log that serves as the entrance. No live trees are necessary; these tree houses come with their own trunks. In addition to offering several standard house designs, owners Ron and John Daniels have built Old West-themed forts, wrecked pirate ships, and medieval castles.

Most of the company’s tree houses are made almost entirely of wood, with some decorative elements fabricated from architectural foam. But the Daniels also like to incorporate old relics that add their own stories to the tree house, such as a rusty horseshoe, an antique pickup truck, or a 1967 Cherokee airplane.
