Dearborn has added a new bath drain pipe solution, True Blue FLEX, to its True Blue Bath Waste line, equipped with flexible and adjustable tubing intended as an alternative to PVC. This, according to the manufacturer, allows installers to overcome jobsite obstructions such as floor joists, severely sloped walls, or misaligned or offset drains.

The True Blue FLEX is fitted with integrated locking features, designed to reduce the number of tools needed to install the pipe. Its structure allows for easier alignment and requires fewer fitting or solvent welded joints for installation, according to the manufacturer.

The pipe is available in 16- and 24-inch lengths, made to fit both standard and whirlpool tub depths. Both lengths are offered in full or rough kits, with toe-touch, uni-lift, or push-and-pull stopper options in a chrome, brushed nickel, or oil rubbed bronze finish. It can be purchased with a direct drain fitting to install a P-trap directly beneath a bath drain. oatey.com
